examination, Oral cancer screening, TMJ evaluation , periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment planning. During this visit, a
complete series of periapical x-rays
(of front and back teeth) and bitewing x-rays (of back teeth) will also be taken. The bitewing x-rays are useful for revealing cavities

Tooth
Whitening
There are a few different options for whitening of your teeth.
The two most common and professional whitening
methods are In-office whitening and Take-home whitening.
The difference between the two types is
the concentration of peroxide used and the application time
for each method. The In-office uses a higher concentration
and a shorter duration of whitening time. You get a significant
change in color in the shortest amount of time.
The Take-home whitening kit uses a lower concentration and it
is applied by the patient for several hours a day for a few days.

Extractions
Although teeth extractions seem to be one of the most feared
dental procedures, the procedure itself is a lot less painful
than it has ever been in the past. Before a tooth is extracted,
the area will be anesthetized with a topical and an injectable
anesthetic. In most cases, the patient experiences little or
no discomfort. Minor bleeding is normal and very common.
Sometimes, patients are prescribed antibiotics and pain medications
to reduce infection and post operative discomfort.

Periodontal (Gum Disease) Treatment

the gum line to remove calculus deposits and tarter. For some patients, a local anesthetic is administered.
Then hand scaling instruments or ultrasonic devices are used to remove the deposits.
